Fire Risk Assessments

Flameguard Fire Protection can offer all its customers a qualified and comprehensive fire risk assessment bringing you and your business up to date with all current fire safety regulations.

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order (RRFSO) of 2005 was formed to address a number of inconsistencies in this previous fire protection regulation.

Before the RRFSO legislation consisted of over 70 pieces of individual pieces of legislation and two major acts - The Fire Precautions Act 1971 and Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1997.

The new law affects all non-domestic premises in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It applies to you if you are an employer, responsible for business premises, self employed with business premises or a contractor with some control over premises. It also applies to charities and voluntary organisations.

  • Combustibles, storage and controls
  • Structural Fire Risks and Containment
  • Highly Flammable & Explosive materials
  • Assessment of persons at risk and the extent of the risk
